It was really great value. The hotel was impressive, the room was impressive and luxury, had essentials for a really comfortable stay. So glad that Wheelchair Accessible room with an opulent style and comfortable sofa, for example I booked was available. Everything here was great.

Central location to walk to all the sights. Based not far from the center, the train stations and to a taxi hub, the main city area and bars and cafes.

Location, close to the historical center. friendliness of the reception staff. The quietness of the room. it overlooked an ugly courtyard but; at least, no noise from the street came in,
The bed, with a plastic mattress protector, more typical of a hospital or a geriatric than a five-star hotel. It creaked and hurt when it wrinkled. The pillow, so soft and with so little padding that it was very uncomfortable. Unforgivable that they don't offer at least two. The emergency light, inside the room, too intense. . The breakfast, too expensive for what they offer: ordinary sausages (in Salamanca!), industrial pastries of poor quality, ordinary packaged jams, coffee without honor... I know several four stars in Salamanca that surpass it by far. The furniture, of false epoch, very deteriorated, needs an urgent maintenance; the curtains a renovation or substitution

room and bathroom were very big. beds were good and there was no noise (sixth floor)
It's not a five-star deluxe hotel. It's more like a regular four. We took 3 rooms xq we went as a family. In two of them we spent quite cold during the night even though we had warned the reception of the situation on several occasions. In one of them the toilet tank was not working. They don't give you a bathrobe or slippers (they told us that they only give them in the suites). breakfast is quite normal, there are no fried eggs in the buffet (they make them but you have to ask for them and nobody tells you that you have that option), orange juice is from brick in automatic machine and Serrano ham was quite bad considering that we are in Salamanca, cradle of the ham. At the exit the man who took the car to the reception was in short sleeves with a black T-shirt as if he didn't work in the hotel. He didn't put our bags in the trunk. Anyway, they have a lot to improve if they want to be a 5E, change totally if they want to be a 5E Grand Luxe, as they say they are.

The twin room was impressive, had excellent views. The bathroom was marble-lined, included a toothpaste and dressing gowns. It was in a marvellous location with an 18th - century baroque public square nearby. I ate in the rooftop restaurant nearby👌

Location is good. Close enough to the city center, but also to the station close enough, for me it was in principle because of the very early departure ... The room is generally spacious, the beds are comfortable, clean. A spacious bathroom with a full bath.
1. The disgusting quality of the Internet. Honestly, I amvery disappointed. I've been torn all the time, even at 3* was better. 2. When paying, tried to make me pay the full price, although previously blocked the cost of the first night. I had to bet before I convinced them to use the money they had blocked earlier. 3. We never expected a messenger (although we didn't really need one), but we were told that we couldn't do it without one. And only when 10 minutes of waiting had passed and he never showed up, we were able to pick up our suitcases from the luggage room and place ourselves.

The Porter! He was brilliant in identifying our personal needs and parking our larger-than-average car in the Hotel's extremely tight underground car park. He was welcoming in every way. The quality of the Hotel and cleanliness was superb. The evening meal in the Hotel restaurant catered well because the attentive staff member was extremely careful to advise and guide on our speciality dietary needs. Breakfast was good, again catering suprisingly well for Gluten-Free visitors. The room, especially the bathroom, was grand in style, relatively quiet and very clean.
The Hotel was difficult to find, despite SatNav guidance. Salamanca is a very busy city and the road networks are hectic and confusing. There was little to find immediately outside the Hotel with no brochures or guidance on Salamanca available in the room or foyer. The receptionist on arrival was abrupt, arrogant and uncooperative in every way, the complete opposite to the porter, waitresses and checking-out staff (even the cleaning staff). This was a shame and took the edge off an otherwise excellent group of staff working happily in a fine 4-star Hotel.

easy access to parks and historic sites for city strolls
The hotel is just a few steps from the beautiful Calisto and Melibea Garden, perfect for a relaxing stroll, and the charming Old Cathedral is just over a kilometer away, making it an easy walk to take in the fine architecture.

This hotel has a good location, five minutes away from the "Plaza Mayor" square. The room and the bathroom are spacious and clean. The hotel staff is very pleasant. The restaurant offers a good quality menu.
The sights from the room were the only drawback.

hotel is well located, next to the Plaza de Espana and near Toro street (the most commercial street in the city), through which you can access the Plaza Mayor and entire historical-monumental center. hotel deserves the five stars it has. Adequate attention by all staff. check-in and check-out were quick and trouble-free. Magnificent cleanliness. decoration, exceptional. It has a swimming pool, which, although reduced in size, offers relief on summer afternoons and exceptional views of a good part of the city (it is located on the rooftop). breakfast is quite good. It is advisable to reserve a parking space, because the area is very crowded and available parking spaces are paid for (blue zone). quality/price ratio (at least on the dates we have been: July) is exceptional.
Everything went well. There's nothing negative to comment on. If anything, the lighting in the bathroom, which should be improved.

Staying here with my family and aunt was good. The elegant decor, and the spacious twin room provided us with plenty of comfort. We loved the breakfast on the 7th floor. The ballroom was quite a treat!
My kids wished there were more activities for them. It would be great to have a special kids' area or playroom.

The staff was friendly, and helpful. We traveled to Salamanca to pick up our son from University there and I had mistaken the ending date. The staff quickly adjusted our reservation to put us into a very nice room that could sleep three the last night there.

Alameda Palace is ideally located between the rail station and the Plaza Major. Ask for a room overlooking the city park and you will be rewarded. The staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. Our original booking was for one night only, but we returned a few days later for a three night stay.
The computer provided to customers was difficult to use and did not have a printer (boarding passes).
